Suggestion and Offering

 

There 2 type of Suggestion there are Asking Suggestion ( Asking for advice )  and                                   Giving  Suggestion ( Giving advice ) . Both of them have different purpose.

                        Suggestion : is a plan or opinion given to an individual for consideration.

                                  Purpose : To help someone who needs any suggestion or advice by giving our                                                        personal idea and opinion in our daily life

                         Advice : is mainly in the sense of counseling what a person should do 

                                concerning a specific phenomenon that he or she does not have a clear                                                understanding.

                                   Purpose :  certain situations relayed in some context to another person, group or                                                       party often offered as a guide to action and/or conduct

Example sentences :

 Why don’t you join an English club ?

                     What do you suggest / recommend we do this evening ?

What ought I do on Sunday ?

                      Could you recommend a good restaurant near here?

                      Do you know the quickest way to the post office ?

Example sentences :

 I suggest visiting the Eiffel Tower

                      I recommend the lasagne

 I advise you to buy a good dictionary.

                      You should do more travelling.

                     You have to practice more often

Either use a verb + ing

                         “I suggest visiting the Eiffel Tower.” (We should all go.)

                          OR use that + a verb without to
                          “I suggest that you visit the Eiffel Tower.” (I’m not going.)

                           OR use a noun
                          “I recommend the lasagne.” (It’s a very good dish to choose in this                                                             restaurant.)

       Offering🍂

Offering is the issue or sale of a security by a company. It is often used in reference to                    an initial public offering (IPO) when a company's stock is made available for purchase by                      the public, but it can also be used in the context of a bond issue.

                   Purpose:to offer assistance for someone who is doing something politely. There are two                      kinds of offering help: informal offers and formal offers.

               Example Sentences : 

                       You are offering me a deal

                     To be fair, his father hadn't made things any better by offering money to Alex                                          and not his sister

Now he was offering her a job taking care of his family?

                     He is offering you a deal, he said slowly.

                    She ignored his offer, seething inside at his betrayal.
